WHAT THE REVIEWS SAY ...
But the highest praise is reserved for the Concord Chorus and Music Director, Dr. Kevin Leong.  Dr. Leong’s artistic leadership is already leaving its mark. The chorus has refined its sound over the course of this season alone.  The collective confidence of the chorus members shone through in this performance.  As audience members, we couldn’t help but root for them. And now, we look forward to next season with excitement.

Their mastery of diction, ... the controlled glissandi, ... the oh-so-powerful pianissimos shaped the sound authentically. With such expertise available to mine this rich tradition, any bassi profundi should make haste to join the chorus...

The Concord Chorus, living up to its sterling reputation, gave a splendid performance of Mendelssohn's Elijah ... the choral singing was indisputably impeccable in tone, intonation, balance, and interpretation.

Ein deutsches Requiem is one of a few works that most choral singers would gladly sing again and again. Ninety voices strong and supported by an outstanding 44-piece orchestra, the chorus delivered a technically precise, expressive, and, at times, transcendent performance. The Concord Chorus was in top form.
